ANNOTATION:

Major scientific and technical problems in safe decommissioning of nuclear-powered icebreakers of project 1052 and their decision options with Sibir nuclear-powered icebreaker as an example are posed. Required special activities for protection of personnel from harmful impact of ionizing radiation during certain decommissioning stages are noted.
