Abstract:

The article considers the key factors that determine the profitability of diamond placers, which include the average price on the market, the content of diamonds in the ore and the amount of ore mined. The authors identify the geological and economic factors of organizing the exploration process and industrial development of diamond placers in the Arctic zone of Russia. They believe that with the current trend of shortage of rough diamonds in the market and the growth of their prices, the implementation of the Khatystakh and Beenchime projects are of investment interest. Organization of activities in the format of a small and medium-sized enterprise will achieve flexible management and reduce production costs by optimizing business processes. The practical significance of the results lies in the proposed economic mechanisms that stimulate the development of hard-to-reach places.
