TERRITORIES OF TRADITIONAL NATURE: DEVELOPMENT LIMITS OR ECONOMIC GROWTH FACTORS?

The article examines the implementation of investment projects in the territories of traditional habitat of indigenous peoples of the North, including the regions of the Russian Arctic. The analysis of territories of traditional nature management in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is given. The issues of using the procedure of ethnological expertise of investment projects are considered. Measures are proposed to compensate for possible negative consequences of the implementation of industrial development projects in the territories of traditional nature use to the local population. The experience of application of ethnological expertise of projects in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is considered.
