Abstract: The paper presents the first results of seismic survey of the Kulogorskaya-Vodnaya-Troya cave system located in the Pinezhsky district of the Arkhangelsk Region, classified as the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The results of processing high-resolution seismic exploration data using SH waves made it possible to establish signs for identification of karst cavities and fracture zones. A temporary seismic monitoring network has been installed in the area of the cave system to study the dynamics of the formation and development of karst processes. The first results of recording seismic events of various types confirm its high sensitivity. Finance info: The research was carried out within the framework of the state assignment of the FECIAR UrB RAS, project ¹ 125021702395-9. The authors would like to thank their colleagues from the speleological agency ASA “Labyrinth”, who provided support in conducting the research, and personally N. A. Frantz for consultations and provided materials. References: 1. Malkov V. N., Gurkalo E. I., Monakhova L. B., Shavrina E. V., Gurkalo V. A., Franz N. A. Karst and caves of Pinezh’e.
