Abstract:

The article considers the distinctive features of the geological structure of oil and gas fields in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). A direct correlation has been established between the areas of oil and gas fields and their geological reserves. Based on a comparison of the geological structure of the territories, the authors conclude that for newly discovered oil and gas fields in the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), such a correlation will persist. To enhance the investment attractiveness of the projects, the authors propose to increase the area of land plots provided on a declaration principle up to 2,000—3,000 km2.
