Abstract:
A forecast of development of Russian Arctic territories in easterly direction is given. The prospects of nuclear icebreakers in development of the Arctic shelf are studied, their role and place are defined. The technical characteristics of icebreaker leader and multifunction nuclear icebreaker of offshore type are given.
