Research Interests:

  • Earth study with GPR (ground penetrating radar), EM (electromagnetic) and high density electric methods.
  • EM (electromagnetic) geophysical devices development.
  • Controlled source electromagnetic data forward modeling and inversion
  • Electric resistivity, EM- tomography and its application studies.
  • Wave motion equation tomography researches for GPR waves

Professor Di Qingyun was the head of the “Minimum low frequencies study project” in the resource detection subsystem of National Surface Electromagnetic Prospecting System (SEP) Reforming and Development Commission of Earth and Resources Ministry.

During the last five years she published more than 30 articles in leading science magazines in China and around the world. Di Qingyun has many awards in science and technology such as the Famous « Zhao Jiuzhang» award for young and middle age scientists of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Nowadays Di Qingyun is a deputy director of Institute of Geology and Geophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, which works in a field of developing measuring devices.
