GRUZINOV, VLADIMIR MIKHAYLOVICH

V.M. Gruzinov is one of the founders of the World Ocean frontal zones study. He published two monographs on the issue: «Frontal zones of the World Ocean» (1975) and «Hydrology of the World Ocean frontal zones» (1986). Significant space in the papers he features to the studies related to seasonal and long-term position variability of the main (climatic) fronts in the World Ocean, the study of processes of mixing in the frontal zones.

Gruzinov V.M. — a highly qualified specialist in the field of thermal and dynamic processes in the ocean. He repeatedly represented Soviet and Russian science abroad in various international ocean organizations. His scientific work is reflected in more than 100 scientific publications.
