Abstract:  The Palyangai gold field is located in the Chaunsky District of the Chukotka Autonomous Area (Arctic zone of Russia). It is located in the eastern exocontact of the Palyangai granodiorite intrusive massif and adjacent host contact-altered Upper Triassic sedimentary rocks. The article presents new data on the distribution of trace elements and REE in ores, the bulk composition of the ore-forming fluid, which made it possible to refine the mineralization prediction and exploration model and its economic potential. Based on these data, the Palyangai ore occurrence can be confidently classified as an intrusive granitoid-related gold deposit (IRGS). The reference object is the large Fort Knox gold deposit (Alaska, USA).
