Abstract

The Northern Sea Route is a promising transport corridor that ensures the economic development of the Arctic territories of Russia. It is actively used for the oil and gas supply to the world market, as evidenced by the traffic volume growth in the last decade. The study objective is to determine the Northern Sea Route output and the prospects for its development, taking into account changes in the state economic policy. The operating results of the Northern Sea Route are considered based on a comparison of expenditures and revenues of the federal budget using on the example of the Yamal LNG project by the comparative analysis method.
