ENGLISH VERSIONS OF ARTICLES FROM 2024 AND PREVIOUS YEARS

The Editorial Council and Editorial Board of the «Arctic: Ecology and Economy» Journal continues to prepare and publish online English versions of articles from 2024 and previous years.

A full version of the article about the first discovery of large mud volcanoes in the Russian Arctic in 2023 has appeared on the Journal’s website. The discovery of the volcanoes was made on the basis of RS data and was confirmed in 2023 by samples of mud breccia taken from the Labvarto volcano. Based on these discoveries, the conclusion was made «about the wide distribution of mud volcanoes in the Circum-Arctic megaregion». This conclusion was confirmed by the discovery of 10 mud volcanoes in the western part of the Barents Sea by Norwegian scientists.
