Areas of scientific activity:
Research of crystal structures, which led to the discovery and creation of a scientific description of over 80 minerals; research and creation of new compounds, as well as nanomaterials based on uranium and transuranic elements, which contributes to solving the problem of ensuring the safety of reprocessing spent nuclear fuel and expands scientific understanding of the forms of concentration of chemical elements in the Earth’s crust; development of the theory of structural complexity of minerals andresearch of crystal structures.
Author and co-author of more than 700 scientific papers, including 6 monographs.
