Abstract: The conceptual approaches and design solutions for the modernization of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian North and the Arctic are substantiated. The authors have formulated the provision on blending institutional and technological aspects to improve the agricultural system in the country polar regions. They have justified the integration potential of multifunctional development models for rural areas and agriculture under digital transformation of production and management; as well as presented conceptual provisions and characterized technological aspects of building a smart agricultural enterprise based on a modular digital platform for agricultural production.
